Born and raised in Los Angeles, I was immersed from a young age in diverse spaces that allowed my creativity and individuality to flourish. Through film and digital photography, I’m given the space to celebrate the differences and uniqueness of each individual.
Living in Santa Barbara has helped me slow down and appreciate the intricate practice of printmaking and developing in the dark room. The very physical and revealing process brings me great joy as I can interact with the paper and create my own image that is not digital.
Since living in San Francisco for a semester and completing my art degree at Westmont College, I’ve wanted to introduce new narratives about female and non-binary skateboarders and the unique spaces that take up our cities. I find myself inspired by Los Angeles and San Francisco street art along with 70s and 90s skateboard photography.
I also really love an ice-cold June Shine, the desert, and a good word search book.
